Meleny Mejia represents Nebraska with cultural pride, confidence, and a commitment to using her voice with purpose. Her reign celebrates meaningful representation, community connection, and the power of young Latinas who recognize the value of their own stories.
Rita Rodriguez leads Miss Nebraska Latina with a clear vision for candidate development, cultural pride, professional preparation, and meaningful community impact. Her direction creates a thoughtful experience where every participant is encouraged to strengthen her voice, presence, and sense of purpose.
Miss Nebraska Latina is the state platform for Latina women and teens ready to celebrate their heritage, develop their voice, and represent Nebraska with confidence and intention. The program combines pageant preparation with communication, leadership, personal presentation, and community connection.
Entry Requirements
Requirements for At-Large Nationals Participation

Age
20–26 years of age.

Heritage & Residency
Be of Latin American or Iberian origin by birth or ancestry and residing in Nebraska.

Eligibility
Be single, never been married nor given birth to a child.

Presentation
Have an attractive appearance and personality, with weight proportional to height, and a respectable reputation.
05
Travel Readiness
Be able to travel abroad if chosen national winner and have or be able to obtain the necessary documents for traveling outside of the US to compete in the world finals in Latin America.
